How to speak on air if you are a caller

1. Call number
2. Give name, where you're calling from, and questions or comments
3. Wait on hold until host gets to your call

An elderly woman just asked me if my co-host (info-mercial) was going to call her to help her with her problems. She gave me all her information and wanted to make sure if she stayed by the radio long enough that the co-host would call her and speak to her about her problems.
Remember, these people do other things like operate cars when they can't see over the steering wheel.
